Found a 73 standard bug, really sound body underneath really clean. Need some upholstery, headliner, backseat, also minor body and mechanical work, also need complete paint job as paint is really faded, But
in sound shape...................????? |

It's hard to tell without pictures but if theres no rust then thats always good.
Could be anywhere from 300 to 1500 depending on what part of the country. Again pictures would help. 1970 in Progress

I would assume that a rust free bug would be fairly rare in vermont........ but not $5500 rare

Apparently he thought so......But I didn't....
Also the convertable I found the guy is going to fix it and let his 16 yr old daughter drive it......Ill keep trying |

I just bought a 74 standard for $3650 from Oklahoma that is totally rust free and original paint. I know it was too much but I'd been looking for years. The doors close like they're new and have that sound of a new one. Needs interior so I'm doing that all myself. At 73 yoa it's like vw's I had back in 67 and 72.

does anyone have any tips for totally rebuilding and building a vw?? we just bought a 73 super beetle and another body and are going to customize it. I am super excited to join the owners of a vw ;-)
